Be. Act. Play ... Coy ~ Haircare For Real Women

I want to tell you about Coy Hair and a couple of their products I use. Coy Hair was created by 2 friends who saw a need for a straightforward, high-quality, functional and efficient hair care line. They make Coy for real women like us who do their own hair, every morning. (I do wish I had someone come over every day and style my hair for me!)

Coy Hair products are simple and straightforward, with singular names such as: Nourish, Lift, Prime, Kink and Finish that tell you what they do. The directions for use on the bottles are fun. The Build Shampoo says: Seriously? It's shampoo ~ you know what to do. Wet hair, wash hair, rinse and do it again if you want. (LOL)

I wash, blow dry and flat iron my hair daily, so I like using a hair protectant like Prime. It guards your hair from the dangers of becoming beautiful- blow dryers, curling irons and flat irons. You spray it on damp hair and style. It protects from the heat and adds hold and shine to your style; it has a nice smell, too.

Transform dull or flyaway hair with Polish Finishing Serum. Anyone and everyone should use this product as their finishing touch. Adds luster and shine and smooths the hair. Use a small amount of serum, a little goes a long way. I put a few drops in my hands, rub together and distribute mostly to my ends.

Steppin' Out ... With Violent Lips

Steppin' out, ladies? Good ;-)

These AMAZING and very cool lip tattoos will make you the star of the club ... and/or the bedroom.

They are from VIOLENT LIPS and they're terrific ... I wore a "set" to a club recently and was constantly asked about them or complimented by girls and guys alike. They are dramatic, come in a HUGE variety of colors and designs, and best of all what might seem like a complicated application to your lips is made easy by a video on their site.

These are just so much FUN for a special event, or just some fun period. By the way, they're even better with (and will withstand) a gloss for extra shine, and are very kissably soft. I wore mine 4 hours with eating and drinking beverages, and they lasted!

I'll Drink to That

Can drinking wine keep you youthful? Many studies have shown that wine, red wine in particular, contains anti-aging properties. Red wine is rich in polyphenol antioxidants, minerals and resveratrol. Antioxidants absorb damaging free radicals that play a role in aging and age-related diseases. Resveratrol is known for its anti-cancer, anti-aging, antiviral and cardioprotective effects. Resveratrol is found in grapes, pomegranate, blueberries and cranberries.

Dr. Richard A. Baxter, MD, plastic surgeon and author of Age Gets Better with Wine, said drinking a glass of red wine a day is the single most important thing you can do besides nonsmoking, from an anti-aging pont of view. But he cautions you can have too much of a good thing. He recommends one glass a day for women and two glasses a day for men. Drinking more than recommended can have the opposite effect on your appearance and health.

A glass a day and your skin will glow. As anti-aging advice, this is as good as it gets.

Cheers,

Amy
