I just joined Birchbox. What is Birchbox you ask? Well it's a neat service where deluxe beauty samples are delivered to your door monthly!

TIPS FOR MANAGING STRESS

Oily skin, acne, hair loss and brittle nails are all side effects of stress. Below are some tips to help reduce stress in your life.

Learn to just say NO!
Keep a positive attitude.
Accept that there are events that you cannot control.
Be assertive instead of aggressive.
Declutter-too much stuff can be overwhelming & contribute to stress.
Learn to manage your time more effectively.
Get enough sleep.
Eat healthy meals.
Drink plenty of water.
Walk for exercise.
Practice relaxation techniques such as yoga, meditation or get massages.

FOOTSIE FRIDAY

FAB Foot Cream

I spent some time in Dollar Tree @DollarTree this week researching beauty products. I've always purchased my gift bags, cards and a few cleaning supplies there but never considered the "beauty aisle."  Needless to say, I had a blast and bought lots of merchandise to try. 

Here is a formula for fabulous @DollarTree foot cream:

1 bottle of PINK baby lotion (generic for Baby Magic)

1 tube of creamy petroleum jelly with vitamin E (generic for creamy Vaseline)

Mix both ingredients and store in an air tight container. The result is very moisturizing and softens and smoothes rough dry skin. You can use this on your feet, elbows and knees. Total cost $2.

I have it on my feet right now. After my bath, while skin was still damp, I massaged into feet. I then slipped into my purple spa socks {got them @DollarTree too} and slept with the cream on. I will wake up to softer footsies!

PINKALICIOUS for June!

PINK is my FAVE color. Always has been, always will be. If there is a choice, I will always purchase "the pink one". My favorite pink color combination is Pink & Black. I like Pink & Green, too. It reminds me of my junior high Izod days. Here are some of my PINK obsessions:

Pink Catawba Wine from St. James Winery 
in Missouri. I have it shipped to me by the case.
A lovely rose color with a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness, like a ripe apple. Pink Catawba is a great sipping wine and an excellent complement to fresh fruits.
